Our intentions for working out may be to stay fit, lose weight, set the lymphatic system in motion, oxygenate our blood, get those happy hormones flowing, and/or attend to our overall health. All excellent reasons for moving our body. What we don’t plan on is having our workouts BACKFIRE on us, creating weight gain, stress, and discouragement. The truth is that women in their 40’s and beyond should NOT be spending an excessive amount of time on a machine or taking part in overtly strenuous workout regimens.

Pro-Aging Tip #9: Trust Your Maker
If you follow after God and believe with all your heart He is your CREATOR, then we must dig deep and ask some crucial questions. And YES, this has EVERYTHING to do with your physical health. When our spirit and soul are wandering and lost it most certainly impacts our physical bodies. Our SPIRIT and SOUL were meant to be FILLED with HIM. False substitutions lead to unfulfillment and the hamster wheel cycle continues.

They tell us that a pill or medication is the magic solution. Yet we witness souls in every walk of life still struggling beyond measure despite these drastic measures. In less than a month I will be 50. I feel 26 in my mind but the reality is with every passing moment we ARE aging. That used to frighten me on countless levels. In part because I allowed the negative worldview of aging to find its way into my own heart and mind. I felt powerless against its forces. Personally living through the devastating heartache that CAN run parallel to aging ignited my will to rebel against these “norms.” ALL of THIS drove me deeper and deeper into discovering a DIFFERENT PATH.
